
Magic. Robert Ogden is a cinematic writer, producer, director. He is currently employed at DreamWorks Animation for November 2010 release, Megamind. He is a creative consultant to many
artistic groups and artists of San Francisco ranging from film to music to fine art. He is currently story consulting for the adaptation of the "The Fifth Sacred Thing" written by Best Selling author Starhawk.
Robert was born in the small
town of Germantown, Ohio. He won
several writing and artistic awards as a young budding artist. He attended the Savannah College of Art
and Design focusing in major of Directing and Producing. He also graduated with minors of
Sound Design, Sculpture, and Art History.
Immediately after college, Robert began
his career working on Fox Network’s Nanny 911, Season 2. He was quickly promoted up the ranks which would become a continuing trend at following production companies.
After Nanny 911, Robert worked on the indie hit horror film Crazy
Eights. Crazy Eights was one of the Eight Films to Die For in the 2008 After Dark
Horror Fest presented by the SciFi Channel. On the set of Crazy Eight's, he was again promoted to Art Department Set Dresser.
Robert then moved to San Francisco
in 2006, where he began working for civil rights production company, Eyethink Pictures. Eyethink is helmed by DreamWorks
Animation’s Visual Effects Lead, Ken Bielenberg and Tippet Studios Production
Manager, Alonza Ruvalcaba. Again
Robert was quickly promoted to Editor and Production Manager.
Outside of DreamWorks, Robert continues to utilize his many talents in the arts. He is currently in pre-production for a 6 week theater run for The Last Anuwar Leopard, of which he is the Writer, Producer, and Director. He is an ultra-productive individual never sleeping before the 'To Do Lists' are complete. Robert is currently crafting his career Writing and Directing towards major motion picture film. He hails from the school of the French New Wave and continues to enthusiastically study the history of film. He is fascinated by human movement and the art form of human expression, and inspired by realm of the beautifully bizarre. He stresses kindness in his professional affairs and accepts input from co-workers of any level. His focus is to bring awareness to the world in hopes of making massive changes for the better. He truly loves every moment of his artistic career and wishes to return this joy to the community.
